The snowflakes paid us a visit,
Overnight, they came and swathed
The streets with their white embrace,
Freezing everything they touch,
But though our noses sniff in the chill,
Our mouths still bear a widened smile,
Our hands still hold each other close,
Our throats still sing those songs of joy,
Like snowflakes, alone, we are too fragile,
But together, just look at what we can do,
A storming, swirling force of nature,
Hearts bound together by the thread of love,
So we walk across this sea of snow,
A rolling white winter wonderland,
Hand in hand, we walk towards
What the snow hides beyond the horizon.
